Annual Enchanted Brush Virtually Showcases “Creatures Most Curious”

The Enchanted Brush annual summer exhibition featuring works by gifted artists from around the world, will take place July 10 through Aug. 7 virtually in the University of Findlay’s Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery website.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the decision has been made to hold the sixth annual Exhibition virtually and to not hold an in-person artist reception or live gallery tours at this year’s event.

Dan Chudzinski, curator for the University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum, explained what started as a late-night discussion between artists soon evolved into a way to bring world-class fantasy art to Findlay, OH on an annual basis.

The Exhibition features previously unseen, original artwork created by artists whose work has been featured by Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, Game of Thrones, Dark Crystal, and Marvel. Chudzinski said, “this year’s theme, ‘Creatures Most Curious,’ challenges artists to create a mythical menagerie that is sure to entertain and inspire all who dare to enter this display of unbridled imagination!”

As always, the Enchanted Brush will be free and open to the public through the Lea Gallery’s new website. Visit the Gallery virtually and dive into a world of unique art and sculptures through “Creatures Most Curious”.
