We offer many educational opportunities for children. It is our mission to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of children’s literature. We value the educational programs that we bring to schools, community groups and families.
Funday Sunday is a theme-based event offered through UF’s Mazza Museum that is fun for the entire family! Activities include storytelling, art stations, music, refreshments, shopping and special guests.
Tales for Tots
A fun story time tailored for toddlers and preschoolers. Each session will feature a different story reader. Activities, sign language and songs will be a part of the program.
Although the Mazza Museum offers free admission to the public during our regular open hours, you may want to consider scheduling a private tour for your group or school. We have tours geared for both adults and children.
The Mazza Museum hosts a week-long Young Artist Workshop for elementary students in the Findlay area. During the camp, children experiment with different forms of media based on artwork found in the museum. The culmination is a family celebration with the students showcasing artwork they created throughout the week.

Children’s Art Exhibit
Throughout the school year, Mazza cooperates with local elementary art teachers to showcase children’s artwork.
The children study an artist’s work and style and then try their own hand at recreating what they’ve learned. The artwork that is selected is hung in the hallway just outside the museum. This is an opportunity for kids to learn about artists as well as to experience the thrill of having their artwork on display at our museum.
