Mazza Museum Temporarily Closed as Proactive Measure Against COVID-19

Update as of April 7, 2020: University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum will be temporarily closed until further notice.


The University of Findlay is committed to the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, volunteers and guests. We are adhering to guidelines from state officials regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum & Gift Shop will be temporarily closing to the public as of Friday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. and will remain closed through April 14, 2020. 

We will continue to evaluate events and share plans prior to April 14 to either ease the restrictions or, if necessary, extend them.

The University’s emergency response team continues to evaluate risk and develop contingency plans, working directly with the Hancock County Public Health Department and following the guidelines of the CDC and local, state, and federal authorities. The University of Findlay has established a Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Information web page to provide specific guidance for the University community along with up-to-date information.
