The Mazza Museum has loaned 31 original artworks to the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA) for guests and the community to enjoy.
Some works that are displayed include “Come with Me,” from the book “The Eagle’s Gift,” by Tatsuro Kiuchi; Pages 12-13,” from the book “There Come a Soldier,” by Ron Mazellan; and “Joseph Reads at the Laundromat,” from the book “Read for Me, Mama,” by Lori McElrath-Eslick.
The exhibit is located in the arts center’s Fisher/Wall Art Gallery, which is open during MCPA ticket office hours, before shows and during intermission, and by special arrangement. The arts center is located at 200 W. Main Cross St. in Findlay.
The Mazza Museum, located on the University of Findlay’s campus in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion, is home to the world’s most diverse collection of original picture book art. Admission is free, and the museum hosts a variety of events throughout the year for children and adults of all ages.
