Young Artist Workshop

July 20 @ 8:30 am - July 24 @ 1:30 pm

Young Artist Workshop – “Explore the Art within the Story”

This year’s theme is “Flip It!” We will be flipping, changing, and rearranging the media process used on already created works of art to come up with something new and unique. Creativity, imagination and innovation collide at Young Artist Workshop 2020!

Learn about the world of picture book art in a fun, exciting way with help from children’s book illustrators and our Mazza staff. Your young artist will create daily art projects using different techniques and media inspired by original illustrations from picture books. At the end of the week, you are invited to attend a reception to honor your young artist.

Open to children in grades 3 – 5 and grades 6 – 8 (as of fall 2020).

Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24 | 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Family Reception | Friday, July 24 | 1 p.m.

Cost for Young Artist Workshop is $150 per child ($125 per child for UF faculty/staff).
Fee includes art instruction, art materials, t-shirt and artist reception.

Packed lunch required. Please have your child’s name clearly marked on their lunch bag.

Enrollment space is limited. We will enroll on a first come, first served basis depending on the date of payment and agreement form.
