Three of John McCutcheon’s songs have been turned into illustrated children’s books: Flowers for Sarajevo, Christmas in the Trenches, and Happy Adoption Day! Like many of his songs, they celebrate family, strength, and hope. His concerts have been described as “breathtaking in their ease and grace” … “like a conversation with an illuminating old friend.” Folk music’s “Rustic Renaissance Man,” McCutcheon has mastered a dozen traditional instruments, most notably the hammer dulcimer. He has released 43 albums and earned numerous Grammy nominations.
Books and CDs will be available for purchase after the concert and during Summer Conference in the Mazza Gift Shop.
