2010

Welcome

The past year has been an especially busy one for the Mazza Museum staff and volunteers.  Many of our programs have been expanded and refined as we continue to grow in size and quality.

The Funday Sunday program has been funded through the Findlay-Hancock Community Foundation for another three years in full.  This program has been reaching over 400 parents, children and grandparents each month.  We are working hard to find ways to reach the families with children that need the literature and arts enrichment the most.

The Mazza Museum and Floyd Dickman, Mazza Advisory Board Member, are working with all publishers to donate every children’s book published during the current year to be donated to the Mazza Museum Book Center.  This will be the only center of its kind in the state of Ohio.  The center will be a place for professional development for students, teachers and librarians.

Other significant events included the fifteenth annual Mazza Summer Conference, the twelfth annual Mazza Fall Weekend Conference and the fifteenth annual Mazza Study Tour (Maine Tour).

Many thanks to all of those dedicated individuals who have helped us and continue to help us achieve our Museum’s worthy mission and goals.

Sincerely,
