Vehicle Immobilization Booting

The University of Findlay Office of Safety and Security will use a vehicle immobilization boot in addition to towing for repeat violators.  If your vehicle has been booted, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE YOUR VEHICLE.  Contact a security officer at 419-434-4799 to remove the boot.

A boot removal fee of $75.00 is required to be payed, in advance, for removal of the boot.

Paying boot removal fee during normal business hours:

  1. The owner of the booted vehicle can pay the fee in person at the business office with cash.
  2. The business office will issues a receipt that shows the fee has been paid, which must be shown to the security officer on duty.  Only after the fee has been paid will the officer remove the boot.

Paying boot removal fee after business hours with credit card:

The owner of the booted vehicle can go to the UF business office student accounts website and pay the fee with credit card, print off the receipt, and present this to the on duty officer, who will remove the boot.
