Dave and Fradonna Buck Basketball EndowmentIn conjunction with the 125th Endowed Funds Drive and the Give Voice to Your Values Campaign, Fradonna Buck established the Dave and Fradonna Buck Basketball Endowment Fund to support the men's varsity basketball program at The University of Findlay. Mrs. Buck established this fund in memory of her husband, David A. Sgt. Robin Vincent Fell ScholarshipIn conjunction with the 125th Endowed Fund Drive and the Give Voice to Your Values campaign, the family of Robin Fell established the Sgt. Robin Vincent Fell Scholarship Endowment Fund at The University of Findlay. Sgt. Fell, beloved son of Roger and Katherine Fell, gave his life in service to his country in Baghdad, Iraq, May 19, 2005. A college student majoring in psychology, Robin was also a devoted cross country runner. This scholarship is awarded to members of The University of Findlay's men's and women's cross country teams.Fund Balance - Newly endowedPhilip D. Gardner Football ScholarshipThe Philip D. Gardner Football Scholarship Fund was established in 1991 to recognize athletes participating in the sport of football. The scholarship provides assistance to students who participate on the varsity football team. Pemberton Basketball Endowment FundIn conjunction with The University of Findlay's 125th Endowed Fund Drive, Jeremy L. Pemberton, Class of 1996, established the Pemberton Basketball Endowment Fund to support the men's basketball program at the University. He created the endowment as an expression of his high esteem for the work of Ronald P. Niekamp, head men's basketball coach from 1985 until 2011, and Charles A. Ann and L. Jack Ruscilli Football ScholarshipIn conjunction with the 125th Endowed Funds Drive, Ann (Colburn '65) and Jack '66 Ruscilli have established this scholarship to attract and retain a Franklin County or neighboring county football recruit to play for the UF Oilers. Ann and Jack, both alums of The University of Findlay, were interested in giving something special back. In addition, Jack is a member of the UF Board of Trustees. Two scholarships are awarded annually, one each to a female and male athlete participating in a varsity sport at The University of Findlay. Whitinger Memorial Soccer Operating ScholarshipThis operating scholarship was established in memory of Daniel by his family. He graduated from The University of Findlay in 1992 with a B.S. in psychology and religion. He played soccer all four years during his college career, appearing in 58 games and scoring two goals. A committed Christian, Daniel traveled abroad on several mission trips where he found soccer crossed all language and cultural barriers. This scholarship is awarded annually to a member of the men’s varsity soccer team who does not receive any other UF athletic scholarship assistance and who demonstrates a strong Christian character. The recipient may be in his freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year of study and must have at least a 3.0 GPA.Fund Balance as of 6/30/10 - n/aMichael Philip Willis Football Operating ScholarshipJim and Betsy Willis, along with their children, David and Traci, established the Michael Philip Willis Football Operating Scholarship Fund at The University of Findlay in memory of the Willis' son and brother, Michael, who passed away in 2011.
