About Internship and Cooperative Education Programs (ICEP)

About Internship and Cooperative Education Programs (ICEP)
The University of Findlay has established the comprehensive office of Internship and Cooperative Education Programs enables students to acquire "hands on" work experience related to their degree program or career interests. Work assignments are developed with business, industry, government, and other agencies and organizations. These work experience opportunities are available for a variety of academic majors. It is recommended students contact Career Services after freshman year so they may be assisted in planning and preparing for internship/co-op experiences.

Benefits offered by securing an internship/co-op prior to graduation include:

• Hands-on experience in your field of interest
• Improved communication and technical skills
• Interview experience
• Experience will enhance resume
• Networking opportunities
• Validation of career decision
• May offer experience living in a larger metropolitan location
• May lead to full-time employment upon graduation

Stop by our office at 424 Frazer Street or call 419-434-6772 to make an appointment. You may also contact us by e-mail at icep@findlay.edu.
