Findlay’s Senior Forum Series Meets Oct. 14

The fourth session
in The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning
experiences for people age 50 and older, is Wednesday, Oct. 14, in the Alumni
Memorial Union.
Each forum
consists of three informative and entertaining sessions: one in the morning,
one during lunch and one in the afternoon. Participants may choose their own
level of involvement – a single session or a series.
Each session is $5
per person to attend. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day.
A complimentary coffee and tea bar is available all day.
The forums will
take place each Wednesday through Oct. 28.
The Oct. 14
program will begin with “Evolution of Light: Edison to Indiglo” presented by
Bill Miller from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
The lunch session
from noon to 1 p.m. is “YMCA Child Development Center” presented by Susan
Spitnale, director.
The afternoon
session from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. will be “A Visit to a One-Room Schoolhouse” with
Renee Smith, of the Hancock County Historical Museum, as tour guide.
