Watercolors by Marilyn Brewer on Display

Watercolors by Marilyn Y. Brewer will be
on display on The University of Findlay campus through Monday, Nov. 30.
The
work, which is located in the A.R. and Mary Ann Charnes Gallery on the first
floor of Old Main and the Old Main Gallery on the second floor of Old Main,
represents various techniques in watercolor including collage and charcoal
applications.
A reception for the artist will be 2:30 –
4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, on the second floor of Old Main.
A graduate of The Ohio State University
with a bachelor of fine arts degree, Brewer continues to study painting and participate
in workshops taught by well-known watercolor artists in Ohio and Florida.
She
has worked with Gerald Brommer, Virginia Cobb, Mary Todd Beam, Marilyn Haghey
Phillis, Carrie Burns Brown and Jeanne Dobie.
While in Florida, Brewer studies with
watercolorist Dianne Nance.
Brewer is a member of the Ohio Watercolor Society, the
Gold Coast Watercolor Society of Ft. Lauderdale and the Findlay Art
League.
