Senior Forum Series Meets Oct. 7 at the Senior Center

The third session
in The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning
experiences for people age 50 and older, is Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Hancock
County Senior Center, 339 E. Melrose Ave., Findlay.
Each forum
consists of three informative and entertaining sessions: one in the morning,
one during lunch and one in the afternoon. Participants may choose their own
level of involvement – a single session or a series.
Each session is $5
per person to attend.
A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day.
A complimentary coffee and tea bar is available all day.
The forums will
take place each Wednesday through Oct. 28.
The Oct. 7 program
will begin with “Where are the Polar Bears?” presented by Martin Reno from
10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
The lunch session
from noon to 1 p.m. is “Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate?” presented by Barb
Brahm, OSU Extension.
The afternoon session
from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. will be “A Visit to the New St. Michael’s Catholic
Church” with Jerry Murray, architect, as tour guide.
