Marianna Hofer, associate professor of English at The University of Findlay, will present a poetry reading at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, in Malcolm Dining Hall, located in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion on campus.
   
Hofer will read poetry from her book, “A Memento Sent by the World,” recently published by Word Press. A reception and book signing will follow the reading, which is free and open to the public.
   
Hofer has published poems, stories and book reviews in a variety of journals and anthologies. Her photographs have hung in various juried shows and local eateries. Many of the poems in her recent collection were inspired by people or places from Findlay and the surrounding areas.
