The Office of International Admission & Services serves as the international admissions office for the Intensive English Language Programs, undergraduate programs and graduate programs. The office provides advice regarding immigration matters, social programming and community resources.

Application Deadlines

All undergraduate and graduate application materials must be received by the following dates in order to be considered for admission:

Summer 2011 - Deadline April 30, 2011
Fall 2011 - Deadline July 30, 2011 
Spring 2012 - Deadline December 1, 2011

TOEFL and IELTS Scores
For direct admission to the:

  • Undergraduate program: 61 TOEFL (or higher) or 6.0 IELTS total band score
  • Graduate programs: 79 TOEFL (or higher) or 7.0 IELTS total band score

Scholarships
The University of Findlay offers the following scholarships:

  • Presidential Scholarship $13,500.00 per year/renewable up to four years 3.5 G.P.A. or higher  
  • Deans Scholarship $12,500.00 per year/renewable up to four years 3.0 – 3.49 G.P.A.  
  • Findlay Award Scholarship $9,500.00 per year/renewable up to four years 2.5 – 2.99 G.P.A.  
  • International Scholar Award $8,000.00 per year/renewable up to four years 2.0 – 2.49 G.P.A.

To qualify for a scholarship:

  1. You must be in an undergraduate program (no graduate scholarships are available at this time)
  2. Our IELP (Intensive English Language Program) students are not eligible for a scholarship.
  3. You must be enrolled in the Spring or Fall semester (Summer enrollment is not eligible)

Admission Procedure

Intensive English Language Programs:

  1. Fill out application.
  2. Provide evidence of financial support.

Undergraduate and Graduate Programs:

  1. Fill out application.
  2. Provide evidence of financial support .



Evidence of financial support is required for all international applicants. You may prove sufficient funds by providing official bank statements, or by registering at FundsV. Your FundsV profile is accessible only to international admissions counselors at Findlay, and does not satisfy the funds verification requirements of any other entity.

        3. Official educational documents in their original language (or true copies of the original) from the last school attended, and a complete literal, word-for-word, line-by-line, certified English translation in the same format as the original language document. 
      4. Send official TOEFL score (if available).
