Support a medication safety residency program in partnership with Mercy Health System of Toledo, Ohio
Launched a medication therapy management benefit for University employees in partnership with Blanchard Valley Hospital
Hosted John Miall, visionary behind the Asheville Project, for a University-wide presentation on using pharmacists-provided health care
Boast an innovative experiential program model
Teach an innovative didactic curriculum combining pharmaceutical science and its application to practice in the classroom
Faculty members are not only encouraged, but
expected
to maintain a role as a practicing pharmacist. We are involved in a variety of practice settings including inpatient, physician office and local health departments, to name but a few!
Faculty members are not only trained to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), but are certified BLS & ACLS instructors, and provide this training to all students on-site.
Faculty research interest areas include a variety of pharmacy practice settings, including long-term care, inpatient, community pharmacy, and a variety of ambulatory care settings including health departments, physician offices, to name but a few!

Current and Ongoing Endeavors
Medication Therapy Management Consultation Center outreach to the community
Developing a Patient Safety Education Center
Provide multiple educational programs around the United States for various pharmacy organizations and corporations
Assist in the development and expansion of clinical pharmacy services in the Northwest Ohio region
Provide leadership in the Findlay Area Pharmacy Association, the Ohio Pharmacists Association, Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists and various National Organizations
Evaluate the economic impact of local pharmacy interventions
Author and edit multiple articles and textbooks that have national and international circulation
Provide health education services to Marathon
Provide health and pharmacy education through “Pharmacy Today”, a University-sponsored radio program
Conduct health screenings and educational programs at local festivals and malls
