Biographical Information

 Dr. Katherine Fell

Katherine Rowe Fell, Ph.D., became the 17th president of The University of Findlay in 2010. A native of Stamps, Ark., Fell served as vice president for advancement at Centenary College, Shreveport, La., from 2004-10; director of development from 2000-04; director of foundation and corporate relations from 1998-2000; and a faculty member from 1986-98. Fell earned a bachelor of science in education in English, with a minor in speech, from Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, and a master of arts in English from Louisiana Technical University in Ruston. She completed a Ph.D. in English at Texas A&M University at College Station. Read Fell’s full biography here.


 Dave Emsweller David W. Emsweller is vice president for student services at the University, responsible for overseeing undergraduate admissions, on-campus housing, career services, financial aid, intercultural student services, student activities, Greek life, health services, international admissions, disability services, safety and security, dining services, recreational services, judicial affairs, campus ministry, retention services, counseling services and all other student service functions. He joined UF as dean of students in December 1998 and was promoted to his current post in 2002. He previously held posts at Michigan State and Florida International universities and at Adrian College, Michigan. He holds a B.S.Ed. and an M.A. degree from Bowling Green State University.

 Dr. Dan May Daniel J. May, Ph.D., is vice president of academic affairs, responsible for all academic programs and services at UF, including academic programs and course scheduling, faculty appointment and evaluation, accreditation, assessment, academic support services, and library and technology services. May joined the University community in 1991. A professor of geology, he specializes in natural resources, natural hazards, environmental geology and pollution of soil and water, with approximately 20 peer-reviewed publications to his credit. He holds a B.S. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

 

John W. Mosser is vice president for University advancement, responsible for alumni and parent relations, public information, Web and technology services and fundraising. He joined UF in January 2012, after serving as vice president of advancement at Bentley University, Waltham, Mass., and previously  at Cornell University, the State University of New York at Cortland and Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa. He earned a doctor of philosophy degree in higher education administration from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor; a master of public administration from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Ill., and a bachelor of science in business administration and marketing from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

Martin Terry
Martin L. Terry is vice president for business affairs at UF, a position he has held since 1998. He spent 33 years in business with Findlay Industries, beginning as controller soon after graduating from then-Findlay College in 1966 and retiring as vice president of human resources, corporate secretary and treasurer along with being on the board of directors. He is active in community activities including Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement. He earned a B.S. degree in business at Findlay College/The University of Findlay.
